How does Endymed work?
Endymed uses radio frequency to deliver focused energy to the deep layers of the skin. This energy heats the collagen to a level where it will contract resulting in tightening, also gently stimulating new collagen production whilst protecting the outer layers of your skin.
The Endymed unit provides 3 types of treatment.
1. Skin Tightening
2. Fractional Skin Resurfacing (FSR)
3. Eye Skin Tightening
Endymed™ 3DEEP® Fractional Skin Resurfacing (FSR)
FSR skin resurfacing refers to the ablation or removal of some skin tissue so that new tissue can be formed. When this is done fractionally it means that specific small areas are removed in a regular pattern across the treatment area. This minimises the overall damage and encouraging the response to spread across the non-ablated areas.
With radiofrequency this resurfacing is created by heat and if the stimulation needs to reach into the dermis the resurfacing is normally done by moving down through the epidermis and into the dermis in a column.
The Skin and FSR
1 = Fractional effect on the epidermis
2 = Full volume of deep dermal heating
The Benefits of FSR
• Improvement in the skin’s texture
• Brighter skin
• Wrinkle smoothing
• Reduction of hyper-pigmentation (brown spots)
• Treats scarring
• A minimally invasive procedure with minimal discomfort and minimal downtime
• Clinically proven
• Collagen stimulation
